Effective January 1, 2011 Wooden Nickel will no longer allow outside food or beverages*.

Wooden Nickel has always tried to offer our customers a comfortable atmosphere, quality wine and on weekends, free live entertainment. Unfortunately some individuals and groups have abused this
privilege by bringing in large quantities of food, taking up valuable table space, leaving a mess and litter behind; treating our facilities like a public park, creating an unpleasant atmosphere for other guests and difficult conditions for our staff. These actions have forced us to rethink our policy.

We understand that a great part of coming to the winery is to bring a picnic and enjoy the atmosphere with friends; we want our guests to continue to enjoy that aspect. To that end, we will be expanding our offerings of food at all of our locations. We have always had a selection of cheeses, sausages, crackers and chips and we will be increasing the varieties and adding new selections of deli sandwiches and cafe menu items to give our guests a wider assortment. In addition, we can provide affordable, ready-made platters for groups large and small that can be ordered in advance and ready when you arrive. Expanding our cafe menu and services affords us the chance to showcase local products and highlight the agriculture of the area.

For our patrons that visit Wooden Nickel locations* regularly and want additional advantages, we have developed the Wooden Nickel Club. Member benefits include:

• A Crown Valley Club cooler (approximately 10in x 6in) that can be used to bring food to any  Crown Valley locations*.
• A 10% discount off any purchases at Crown Valley destinations**.
• Complimentary glasses upon each visit (2 glass maximum).
• Monthly specials such as complimentary tastings, special sales and events.

The fee for this club is $10 a month or $100, when paid in full, for a year’s membership, a cost effective investment for customers that visit our facilities throughout the year.

Wooden Nickel CAKE POLICY
Wooden Nickel allows you to bring your own Cake to celebrate your special event for a $20 refundable deposit.* Ask a Wooden Nickel staff member for more information.

*Receive a voucher and before you leave the Wooden Nickel, return your stub to receive your refund. Those parties with excessive messes will not receive their deposit back. Refunds are only available the day authorization is issued. Limited to one voucher per person per day. No additional specials or discounts included. Must present voucher stub to receive full deposit.
